Lunch: Root Beer Float
This wonderful combination goes back to Great-Grandma's day. In the 1960s, root beer floats were served in big mugs at A&W drive-ins by carhops and waitresses on roller skates.
Ingredients
4 scoop vanilla ice cream
1 can root beer
Instructions
In blender, combine 2 scoops ice cream and 3/4 cup root beer and blend until mixture is smooth. Pour into 2 tall glasses.
Add a scoop of ice cream to each glass and fill with remaining root beer.
