Breakfast: Light French Toast

Lighter French Toast using low-calorie bread and mostly egg whites.

Total Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

1 large egg
2 large egg whites
1/2 cup nonfat milk
8 slices light wheat bread
1/4 tsp nutmeg

Instructions

1. Blend egg, egg whites and milk. Add a dash of nutmeg.

2. Coat bread in wet ingredients and grill on a griddle, turning when brown.

3. Serve with light syrup or fruit.
