Lunch: Gourmet Microwave Popcorn

Recipe by Gail Karet I keep a jar of popcorn kernels and a small bottle of fancy olive oil in my office. Much better than microwave popcorn, and tastier too.

Ingredients

1/4 cup unpopped popcorn
salt to taste
1 teaspoon olive oil, or more if needed

Instructions

Place popcorn in a brown paper bag. Tightly seal the bag by folding the top several times.
Microwave on High until the popping slows, about 2 minutes. Carefully open the bag. Season with salt and drizzle with olive oil. Reclose the bag and shake to distribute the seasoning.
