Ingredients
2 oz pork kielbasa
15.5 oz blackeye peas
1 envelope sazon
1 stalk medium celery
1 small onion, chopped
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
3 cups long grain brown rice
Instructions
1. In non-stick pan, cook kielbasa until done.
2. Add onion, pepper and celery, cook until onion is tender. Add blackeye peas, undrained.
3. Stir in Sazon packet. Add a little salt, pepper and/or hot sauce if you like.
4. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
5. Serve over brown rice.
