Ingredients
1 lb ground turkey
2 stalks medium celery
1 cup pieces or slices mushrooms
1 large onion, chopped
1 large green pepper
15 oz diced tomatoes
29 oz tomato sauce
2 cups vegetable juice
15 oz kidney beans
2 oz brown sugar
1/3 cup brown rice
1 lb lean ground beef
Instructions
1. Brown ground beef and ground turkey.
2. Chopped onion, green pepper and celery.
3. Empty tomato sauce, diced tomatoes and vegetable juice (like V8) in crockpot.
4. Place meat and vegetables in crockpot.
5. Add chili powder to taste.
6. Add chipotle sauce if desired.
7. Cook in crockpot on low for 8 hours.
