Breakfast: Slow Cooker Sausage Breakfast Casserole

Warm your house with the smell of delicious breakfast! Enjoy Jimmy Dean® Hearty Sausage Crumbles, eggs, and cheese, slow-cooked to perfection.

Ingredients

1 package frozen, shredded hash brown potatoes
1 package Jimmy Dean® Hearty Original Sausage Crumbles
2 c. shredded mozzarella cheese
1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
1/2 c. julienne-cut, sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil
6 green onions
12 eggs
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper

Instructions

Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Layer half of the potatoes in the bottom of the slow cooker.
Top the potatoes with half of the sausage, mozzarella, Parmesan cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and green onion. Repeat layering.
Beat the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper in a large bowl with a wire whisk until well blended.
Pour egg mixture evenly over the potato-sausage mixture.
Cook on low setting for 8 hours or on high setting for 4 hours, or until eggs are set.
