Lunch: Vietnamese Coffee Fizz Recipe | MyRecipes

Recipe by Karen Rankin This pleasant cold coffee drink is a refreshing and crisp way to get your cup of joe that doesn't feel like a milkshake or an overly saturated, sweet concoction that's found at most coffee shops. It has a very rich and creamy taste

Ingredients

2 tablespoons ground chicory coffee (such as Café Du Monde)
2/3 cup boiling water
2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
3 ounces sparkling mineral water (such as Perrier or San Pellegrino)

Instructions

Place coffee and boiling water in a heatproof container; let it stand for 4 minutes.
Pour the mixture through a coffee filter-lined fine wire-mesh strainer into a heatproof container.
Stir in sweetened condensed milk. Pour mixture into a 16-ounce glass filled with ice; stir in mineral water. Serve immediately.
