Nuts are a natural source of Inositol, a derivative of Vitamin B (which is often prescribed in the form of supplements for women with PCOS). Inositol can effectively control the symptoms of PCOS by reducing insulin resistance and improving insulin sensitivity.

Ingredients

1 package brownie mix
12 large peanut butter cups
1 c. heavy cream
3 large bananas
6 tbsp. caramel sauce
6 tbsp. unsalted roasted peanuts

Instructions

Heat the oven according to brownie mix package directions. Lightly coat a 9-inch square pan with cooking spray. Line the pan with parchment, leaving a 3-inch overhang on 2 sides. Spray the parchment.
Prepare the brownie batter according to package directions. Place half the batter in the pan, top with the peanut butter cups, gently pressing them down, then cover with the remaining batter. Bake and cool according to package directions.
Using the overhangs, transfer the brownie to a cutting board. Cut in half and set one half aside for another use. Cut the remaining half into 1-inch squares.
Using an electric mixer, beat the cream in a medium bowl on high until medium-stiff peaks form, about 3 minutes.
To assemble the trifles, layer brownies, bananas, whipped cream, and caramel in six 8-ounce glasses or jars. Top with whipped cream and peanuts and drizzle with caramel.
