Lunch: Dirty Rice
A unique rice dish serves as a great side to your meal.
Ingredients
1 lb chicken livers, finely chopped
1 lb bulk pork sausage
1 cup onion, chopped
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/2 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
4 cup hot cooked rice
Instructions
Cook the sausage and chicken livers in a large skillet until browned. Add the vegetables and sauté until soft. Gently fold in the rice and parsley. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
