Breakfast: Mango, Mint, and Pineapple Smoothie

Recipe by Art Smith This smoothie transports you to the tropics with the mango and pineapple. I usually make it in my Chicago kitchen on a rainy day when I need some bright flavors.

Pineapples are loaded with vitamins and minerals including vitamin A, vitamin C, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium.

Ingredients

1/2 cup chopped mango
1/2 cup chopped pineapple
1/2 cup nonfat high-protein plain Greek yogurt or kefir
4 mint leaves, torn into pieces

Instructions

Place all the ingredients and 3 ice cubes in a blender and blend on high speed for about 60 seconds or until smooth.
Pour into a chilled glass and enjoy.
