Lunch: Sweet Daikon and Carrot Salad (Mou Sangchae)

Ingredients

1 small daikon (1 pound), peeled and cut into 3-inch matchsticks
1 medium carrot, cut into 3-inch matchsticks
1/4 cup rice vinegar
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
Salt

Instructions

In a bowl, toss all of the ingredients and let stand for at least 30 minutes.
