Green yard long beans and potatoes.. the beans get cut in random sized parts. same thing happens to potatoes and they get cooked on medium heat because and the beans get slightly golden or brown because of the high heat cooking ALOO BARBATI http://www.vahrehvah.com/aloo-barbati Ingredients: Potato 250 g Turmeric ¼ ts Oil 2tb Cumin seeds 1 ts Onions 2 n Salt Yard long beans (chines beans) 250 g Chilly powder 2 tb Green chilly 3 n Coriander powder 1 tb Amchur powder 1 ts Garam masala powder 1 tb Roasted chana powder 2 tb Directions: Potatoes cut them into length wise (add turmeric in water and boil the potatoes). Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, onions, salt, add yard long beans, (Chinese beans) sauté this and add chilly powder, green chilly, coriander powder cook for some time add roasted chana powder.
