A deconstructed steak pie with a flavorful mushroom sauce

Ingredients

2 sticks butter, divided, plus 2 tablespoons for steak and more for greasing pan
1 (3 oz) package cream cheese, softened
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour, 1 cup for crust, 3/4 cup for filling
1 1/2 cups half and half, or cream
1 (10.75 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (13.25 oz) can sliced mushrooms, drained
1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
1 egg, beaten
1 lb cooked shrimp, peeled, deveined, and coarsely diced
garlic powder
buttered bread crumbs, for topping
6 sprigs fresh parsley, for garnish
3 lbs beef tenderloin, cut into chunks
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon garlic, minced
1 cup fresh mushrooms, sliced
1 1/2 cups green onions, sliced
1 cup beef stock
1 cup heavy cream
