Lunch: Quick Pasta Carbonara

A quick and easy version of an Italian favorite, this carbonara comes together in just 20 minutes, so it's easy to enjoy any night of the week, no matter how busy your days.

Ingredients

1/2 lb. medium-size pasta
4 slice OSCAR MAYER bacon
4 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1 c. frozen peas
3/4 c. milk
1/2 c. KRAFT Grated Parmesan Cheese
1/2 tsp. garlic powder

Instructions

Cook pasta as directed on package. Meanwhile, cook bacon in large skillet until crisp. Remove bacon from skillet with slotted spoon, reserving 2 tablespoons drippings in skillet. Drain bacon on paper towels.
Add remaining ingredients to reserved drippings; cook on low heat until cream cheese is melted and mixture is well blended and heated through.
Drain pasta; place in large bowl. Add cream cheese sauce and bacon; mix lightly. Each serving provides: 25%DV vitamin A, 10%DV vitamin C, 30%DV calcium, 15%DV iron.
