Lemons can help to prevent oxidative damage to the body, which women with PCOS are often susceptible to.

Ingredients

3/4 c. sugar
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
2 tbsp. water
pinch of kosher salt
1/2 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Instructions

Simmer sugar, lemon juice, water and salt in a small saucepan over medium heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves, 1 to 2 minutes.
Stir in vanilla extract. Cool 10 minutes.
