Health and fertility benefits of Coconut Mojito

Spearmint can help deal with PCOS due to its anti-androgenic properties. A study published in the journal Phytotherapy Research found that drinking spearmint tea can help reduce hirsutism, or excess body hair, by reducing free and total testosterone levels and increasing luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) levels.

Ingredients

1 teaspoon sugar
4 to 5 leaves fresh spearmint, plus more for garnish
3 lime wedges, plus more for garnish
Ice, for chilling
1 1/2 ounces light rum
2 1/2 ounces fresh coconut water

Instructions

Muddle or mash together the sugar, spearmint and lime wedges in a tall glass. Add the ice, pour in the rum and top with the coconut water. Stir well and garnish with a lime wedge and spearmint leaf.
Cook's Note: For a classic mojito, substitute club soda for the coconut water.
