Dessert: Cinnamon Roll a la Mode Poke Cake Recipe

Recipe by Candace Braun Davison You could top the cake with cream cheese frosting, if you're a purist—or you could go all out with a scoop of ice cream. (Because why not?)

Ingredients

1 box spice cake mix
1 can cream soda
1 can sweetened condensed milk, 14 ounces
1 half-gallon vanilla (or cheesecake) ice cream
1 jar caramel sauce (optional)

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Combine the spice cake mix and can of cream soda, then bake for 33-35 minutes.
Let the cake cool for 20 minutes, then use the bottom of a wooden spoon (or other utensil) to poke holes all over the top of the cake. Fill the holes with sweetened condensed milk.
Place the cake in the fridge to set for the next 2 hours.
Slice into individual servings, then scoop ice cream on top of each piece. Drizzle with caramel sauce.
