Dessert: Chocolate Cake

Ingredients
12 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. cocoa powder
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1 c. yogurt
Instructions
Melt butter in a saucepan on the stove or in a bowl in the microwave. Set aside to cool slightly.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and cocoa powder in a bowl.
Add eggs, vanilla, and yogurt to the still warm butter and whisk to combine.
Add wet ingredients to the bowl with the dry ingredients and stir with a large spoon or spatula until just combined.
Butter two 8-inch round cake pans and divide batter equally between the two pans. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
