Cinnamon is one of the best ingredients that someone with insulin sensitivity can eat. Half a teaspoon of cinnamon per day has been shown to be very effective at normalizing blood sugar levels. Cinnamon contains hydroxychalcone, which is thought to enhance the effects of insulin. Ingredients
2 1/2 cups oats
1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
3 tbsps brewer's yeast
1/3 cup unsweetened apple sauce
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp vanilla extract
3 medium bananas
Instructions
1. Mix all ingredients together.
2. Using a 1 tablespoon scoop, place on cookie sheet.
3. Bake for 15-20 minutes at 350 °F (175 °C).
4. Enjoy.
