Dessert: Frozen Banana Treat
This recipe is a great way to eat healthy, while still being a little devilish.
Ingredients
1 container plain yogurt, low fat
3/4 cup granola
1 cup sliced bananas
Instructions
1. Peel the bananas and cut into small slices (average of 20 slices per banana).
2. Stir contents of plain yogurt, and spread on a plate. You will not need to use all the yogurt.
3. Pour the granola onto a plate. You may need to add more if desired.
4. Dip the bananas into the yogurt, then into the granola pieces.
5. Put bananas (now covered with the yogurt and granola) into a freezer safe container.
6. Freeze for 12 hours, and enjoy.
7. Note: since you don't use all the yogurt/granola, this recipe makes a great low calorie snack.
