Dessert: Strawberry Shortcake Skewers

Recipe by Lindsay Funston These are the Valentine's Day breakfast you've been waiting for.

Ingredients

1 package refrigerated or frozen biscuits
1 c. heavy cream
1 tbsp. sugar
1 pt. strawberries, sliced into rounds

Instructions

Bake biscuits according to package directions. Let cool slightly, then cut into circles using a 1" biscuit cutter.
Meanwhile, whip cream and sugar until soft peaks form. Transfer cream to a piping bag.
Assemble skewers: Layer a biscuit, whipped cream, and strawberry slice and repeat two times. Serve.
