Drink: Shamrock Shake All Grown Up

Recipe by Kendra Vizcaino-Lico Satisfy your grown-up tastes, as well as your inner child, with this boozy take on the classic St. Patrick's Day milkshake.

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1 ounce crème de menthe
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)
6 drops green food coloring
Whipped cream (optional)
Green sprinkles (optional)
Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, milk, crème de menthe, peppermint extract, if using, and the green food coloring. Process until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour into a glass and top with the whipped cream and sprinkles.
