Dessert: Peeps-Stuffed Chocolate Chip Cookies

Recipe by Candace Braun Davison One tube of cookie dough only makes about 3-4 cookies, so if you're making a platter for a crowd, buy extra.

Ingredients

2 tubes refrigerated chocolate chip cookie dough
6 Peeps

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350 °F. As the oven heats, separate each roll of dough into six equal chunks. Flatten each chunk into a disc, then use two discs to sandwich around a Peep, using your fingers to close up the seams so the Peep is fully covered in dough. (Each roll of cookie dough will make about three cookies.)
Place each Peep-filled cookie dough ball at least 3 inches apart on a parchment-lined baking sheet—it will spread a LOT while baking—and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cookie has turned golden brown around the edges. Let cool before serving.
