Lunch: Irish Coffee with Dutch Whipped Cream
Recipe by Rori Trovato The perfect nightcap or after-dinner drink on a cold winter evening.
Ingredients
1 c. heavy cream
1/4 c. Dutch process cocoa
1/3 c. confectioners' sugar
4 c. hot brewed coffee
1/4 c. brown sugar
4 oz. Irish whiskey
Instructions
With an electric mixer, whip cream with cocoa and confectioners' sugar until just stiff. Fill a mug with 1 cup coffee. Add 1 tbsp. brown sugar and 1 ounce whiskey. Stir until sugar dissolves. Top with a dollop of whipped cream. Repeat with 3 more mugs. Dust with cocoa before serving.
