Ingredients

1 1/4 pounds granulated sugar
6 tablespoons all-purpose flour
8 eggs
8 ounces butter, melted
16 ounces buttermilk
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 teaspoons lemon zest
1 ounce lemon juice
2 pie shells, prebaked

Instructions

Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Whisk together sugar and flour, adding eggs gradually. Slowly add melted butter. Whisk in remaining ingredients and pour into pie shells.
