6 tablespoons soy sauce or tamari
2 tablespoons warm water
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon Asian sesame oil
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 cup thinly sliced scallion greens
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
2 red or green serrano chiles, thinly sliced into rings
Instructions
Combine all of the ingredients in a small bowl and let stand for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavors to develop
