One tbsp of honey has a glycemic index (GI) of 55. Grapefruits are rich in folic acid. One grapefruit will give you 8% of your daily needs of folic acid.

Ingredients

1/4 c. honey
2 tbsp. fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp. grated lime zest
3 pink grapefruits
3 navel oranges
3 tbsp. small mint leaves or chopped mint

Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk the honey, lime juice and zest.
Cut peel and white pith from grapefruits and oranges. Slice the fruit into rounds, add to the bowl and gently toss to combine. Sprinkle with the mint before serving.
