Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.

Ingredients

3 oz organic green salad
1 oz fat free feta cheese
1/2 cup cannellini beans
1/4 cup dry roasted edamame
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground dried oregano
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsps champagne wine vinegar
1 cup blueberries
1 cup chopped broccoli

Instructions

1. Rinse salad greens and place in large bowl.

2. Rinse blueberries and add to salad greens.

3. Add in dry roasted edamame, feta, beans, broccoli, olive oil, vinegar, and seasonings to taste.

4. Toss and enjoy!
