Lunch: Turkey Salad on Wheat Recipe
Ingredients
2 cups chopped romaine
1-1/4 cups diced cooked turkey
1/2 cup shredded Swiss cheese
2 green onions, thinly sliced
6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
1/3 cup frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon pepper
12 slices whole wheat bread
Instructions
In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. Add mayonnaise and pepper; toss to coat. Spread on six slices of bread; top with remaining bread.
