Ingredients

2 tbsp. butter
1 3/4 lb. baby carrots
2 tsp. finely grated orange rind
1/4 c. orange juice
2 tbsp. dry white wine
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1/2 c. coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts

Instructions

Melt butter in large frying pan; cook carrots, turning occasionally, until almost tender.
Add rind, juice, wine, and syrup; bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, until liquid has almost evaporated and carrots are tender and caramelized.
Serve carrots sprinkled with nuts.
