Lunch: La Melonada

Ingredients

3/4 cantaloupe cubes
One 1/2-inch piece of peeled fresh ginger, chopped
2 ounces silver tequila
3/4 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
1/2 ounce water
3/4 ounce Simple Syrup
3/4 ounce fresh lime juice
Ice

Instructions

In a blender, puree all of the ingredients except the ice. Strain into an ice-filled shaker. Shake well; strain into a chilled martini glass.
