Drink: Orange Mint Julep
Recipe by Bobby Flay This julep riff from Bobby Flay tastes fresh and not too sweet.
Ingredients
Zest from 1 orange (removed in strips with a vegetable peeler)
1/2 cup sugar
Instructions
Bring zest, sugar, and 1/2 cup water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring until sugar is dissolved. Let cool; cover and chill at least 2 hours. Strain syrup into a small jar or bowl.
