Health and fertility benefits of Stir-Fry Veggies

Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system. Sesame seeds help with progesterone balance. Lignans found in in sesame seeds help to prevent excess estrogen production.

Ingredients

1/4 cup fat-free, reduced-sodium chicken broth
2 tablespoons reduced-sodium soy sauce
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
2 teaspoons canola oil
1 (12-ounce) bag carrots and broccoli florets
1 cup stringless sugar snap peas
1 teaspoon sesame seeds

Instructions

In a small bowl, whisk together the chicken broth, soy sauce, and red pepper flakes
In a large nonstick skillet or wok, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables and cook for 5 minutes.
