This popular Indian lentil stew is made using Fenugreek leaves and Pigeon peas. Simple and extremely nutritious. http://www.vahrehvah.com/meeti-daal-onion-sweetened-daal Ingredients: Masoor daal 1 cup Whole red chilly 3 n Cumin seeds 1 ts Garlic 4 n Ginger garlic paste 1 ts Green chilly 3 n Red chilly powder 1 tb Turmeric Salt Ghee 3tb Onions 3 n Directions: Heat ghee in a pan add whole red chilly, cumin seeds, garlic, onions (thin slices), salt, add ginger garlic paste cook it for raw flavor is gone, add green chilly, red chilly powder and add daal (masoor dal boiled by adding oil and turmeric in to the pressure cooker) add water bring it to a boil and cook for 10 min switch off the flame.
