ONE POT CHEF COOKBOOKS ON iTUNES BOOKSTORE: http://itunes.apple.com/au/artist/david-chilcott/id478668534?mt=11 Sweet Potato Pie is an American dessert classic. Personally I had never tried it before making this video, but I got so many requests for it I decided to give it a go. A smooth, rich pie filling made with steamed Sweet Potato, butter, eggs and cinnamon. A delicious home made shortcrust pastry pie crust, and everything drizzled in melted dark chocolate - give it a go! Health and fertility benefits of Sweet Potato Pie

Cinnamon is one of the best ingredients that someone with insulin sensitivity can eat. Half a teaspoon of cinnamon per day has been shown to be very effective at normalizing blood sugar levels. Cinnamon contains hydroxychalcone, which is thought to enhance the effects of insulin. It has also been suggested that Cinnamon prevents post-meal blood sugar spikes by slowing the gastric emptying rate - meaning that food digests slowly.
