Dessert: Chocolate-Cherry Whiskey Dump Cake

Recipe by Hannah Petertil When your fridge is barren but your bar is stocked, bake this super-easy dump cake will make for adynamite dessert.

Ingredients

1 21-ounce can Country Cherries
1/2 c. whiskey
1 box Dark Chocolate Fudge cake mix
1 stick butter, melted
1/3 c. mini chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Grease (with butter or oil) a 9x9 square cake pan (see note).
Dump cherries into a bowl and mix with whiskey.
Pour cherry mixture into baking dish.
Spoon cake mix over cherry mixture.
Drizzle butter over cake mix as evenly as you can.
Top with chocolate chips.
Bake for 15 minutes.
Serve with ice cream.
