Salad and Salad Dressing: Tomato Broccoli Salad

Health and fertility benefits of Tomato Broccoli Salad
Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.
Ingredients
1/2 sweet Italian red onion
8 oz fat free Italian dressing
1 bunch broccoli
1/2 head large cauliflower
6 plum tomatoes
Instructions
1. Chop all ingredients the same size (approximately 1/3 to 1/2" pieces).
2. Add 1/2 bottle of Italian dressing, mix well and keep in a covered plastic container in refrigerator. Will keep several days.
3. This works well with the fat free Italian dressings and you can lower the calorie content with lower calorie dressings.
4. Note: this is absolutely wonderful with fresh homegrown tomatoes.
