Kale is an excellent source of calcium, which has an important role in egg maturation and follicle development in the ovaries.
Ingredients
2 tsps Italian seasoning
1 tbsp coconut oil
1 medium red onion
5 cups chicken stock
1 cup carrots, chopped
1 cup celery, chopped
5 cloves garlic
3 cups kale, chopped
2 medium red potatoes
Instructions
1. Saute onion and garlic in coconut oil for 5 minutes
2. Add chicken stock, carrots and celery and bring to a boil.
3. Add potatoes and simmer for 15 minutes.
4. Add Italian seasoning and kale. Cook for 5-10 more minutes.
