Health and fertility benefits of Peanut Butter Brownies Recipe

Nuts are a natural source of Inositol, a derivative of Vitamin B (which is often prescribed in the form of supplements for women with PCOS). Inositol can effectively control the symptoms of PCOS by reducing insulin resistance and improving insulin sensitivity. Walnuts are low on the glycemic index. What’s more, they also lower the glycemic index of other foods that you eat in conjunction with these nuts. Any kind of nuts provide a healthy source of fat and a great way to encourage PCOS weight loss.

Ingredients

1 package (17-1/2 ounces) peanut butter cookie mix
1/2 cup baking cocoa
2/3 cup chocolate syrup
1/4 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or peanuts

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine cookie mix and cocoa. Beat in chocolate syrup, butter and egg until combined. Stir in nuts.
Spread into a greased 13-in. x 9-in. baking pan. Bake at 350 ° for 28-32 minutes or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.
Meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine frosting ingredients until smooth. Spread over brownies. Cut into squares.
