Ingredients

3 lbs ground beef, divided
6 slices bacon
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
2 tablespoons grated onion, plus 6 slices for burgers
4 tablespoons butter, softened, plus 4 tablespoons cut into small cubes
4 oz American cheese, cut into 6 portions
1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup yellow mustard
1/4 cup ketchup
Paula Deen's Hot Sauce
2 tablespoons pickled jalapeño peppers, finely chopped
12 hamburger buns
6 leaves lettuce
6 slices tomato
