Lemons can help to prevent oxidative damage to the body, which women with PCOS are often susceptible to. Agave has a low glycemic index (GI) of 17.

Ingredients

Ice
1 1/2 ounces reposado tequila
1/2 ounce Cointreau or other triple sec
1 ounce apricot nectar or juice
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/4 ounce Agave nectar mixed with 1/4 ounce water
1 ounce chilled sparkling wine
1 lemon wedge, for garnish

Instructions

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all of the remaining ingredients except the sparkling wine and the garnish and shake well. Strain into an ice-filled highball glass, stir in the sparkling wine and garnish with the lemon wedge.
