Dessert: Quick-Mix Chocolate Cakes
Chocolate cake cravings come by surprise. With this recipe, you can always make quick-mix chocolate cupcakes at the last minute.
Ingredients
1 c. self-rising flour
1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/3 c. cocoa powder
3/4 c. superfine sugar
14 tbsp. softened butter
3 eggs
1/2 c. milk
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F/350 degrees F fan-forced. Line 15 holes of two 12-hole muffin pans with paper cases.
Sift dry ingredients into medium large bowl, add remaining ingredients; beat with electric mixer on low speed until ingredients are combined. Increase speed to medium; beat until mixture is smooth and has changed to a paler color.
Drop 1/4 cup of mixture into cases. Bake about 20 minutes. Stand cakes 5 minutes before turning top-side up onto wire rack to cool.
