Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.

Ingredients

1 (12-oz.) pkg. broccoli florets
1 (19-oz.) pkg. frozen tortellini
1 (10-oz.) container refrigerated Alfredo sauce or 1 (1-lb.) jar Alfredo Sauce
Grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

Prepare broccoli and tortellini as directed on package. Drain; place in large serving bowl.
Meanwhile, heat Alfredo sauce in saucepan. Pour sauce over broccoli and tortellini; toss to coat. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
