Snack: Big-Batch Butterscotch Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1-1/2 cups butter, softened
3 cups packed brown sugar
3 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
5-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1-1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

Instructions

In a large bowl, cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda and cream of tartar; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well (bowl will be full.)
Drop by level tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350 ° for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove to wire racks to cool.
