Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.

Ingredients

1 (12-oz.) pkg. bulk sage-flavored pork sausage
1 (11-oz.) can Pillsbury™ Refrigerated Crusty French Loaf
2 cups frozen broccoli cuts, cooked, drained
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded mozzarella cheese
4 oz. (1 cup) shredded Cheddar cheese

Instructions

Heat oven to 350 °F. Cook sausage in medium skillet over medium-high heat until thoroughly cooked, stirring frequently. Drain.
Unroll dough onto ungreased cookie sheet. Press to form 14x12-inch rectangle. Spoon sausage down center of dough. Top with broccoli and cheeses. Fold long sides of dough over filling, meeting in center; press edges and ends to seal.
Bake at 350 °F. for 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cut into crosswise slices.
