Lunch: Fresh Tomato Salsa

A Betty Crocker cookbook shares a healthy recipe! Feel good about this low-calorie, low-fat and vitamin-rich salsa.

Ingredients

3 large tomatoes, seeded, chopped (3 cups)
4 medium green onions, sliced (1/4 cup)
1 small green bell pepper, chopped (1/2 cup)
3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 jalapeño chiles, seeded, finely chopped (1 tablespoon)
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
2 to 3 tablespoons lime juice
1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

In large glass or plastic bowl, mix all ingredients.
Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour before serving to blend flavors.
