Ingredients
1/2 cup parmesano
1 dash black pepper
1 dash kosher salt
1/4 cup olive oil
1/2 lemon yields lemon juice
1 clove garlic clove
2 heads large hearts of romaine
Instructions
1. Mix together oil, lemon juice, and finely minced garlic clove.
2. Cut hearts of romaine in half lengthwise and bruish with marinade mixture. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
3. Refrigerate until just before grilling.
4. Grill just a couple of minutes until leaves start to wilt. Then turn over and grill a few more minutes.
5. Dust with the grated cheese and enjoy. Skip the cheese if you are in stage one, the detox mode.
