Health and fertility benefits of Faux Crab Cakes

Tuna is great for a high protein diet as it has 33 grams of protein within its housing, with no pesky carbohydrates to worry about. In addition to this, tuna contains B vitamins and vitamin D, both of which are vital to fighting back against PCOS. Lemons can help to prevent oxidative damage to the body, which women with PCOS are often susceptible to.

Ingredients

1/4 cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons diced green onions
1 egg, beaten
2 (6 oz) cans tuna fish
1/2 cup bread crumbs
vegetable oil, for frying
lemon juice, optional

Instructions

Heat 1-inch of oil in a large skillet over medium heat. While oil is heating, combine tuna, beaten egg, green onions, mayonnaise, 1/4 cup breadcrumbs and lemon juice, to taste, if desired. Form into patties and dust with additional bread crumbs. When oil is a hot, fry patty until golden brown, about 2 minutes on each side. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving.
