Broccoli is one of the non-starchy vegetables that has a very low glycemic index (GI), which is beneficial for reducing blood sugar levels. Broccoli is also a source of DIM (Diindolymethane). Diindolymethane is very effective in reducing the testosterone levels in the body, an action that would automatically curb male dominant features and regulate the estrogen levels in the system.
Ingredients
2 bag fresh vegetable medley (broccoli, cauliflower and baby carrots)
1 jar Double Cheddar sauce (such as Ragu)
1 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
.13 tsp. paprika
1/4 c. each shredded Cheddar cheese and sliced scallions
Instructions
Heat oven to 350 °F. Have a shallow 2- to 2 1/2-qt baking dish ready.
Microwave vegetables, 1 bag at a time, as package directs.
Put sauce, mustard and paprika in ungreased baking dish; stir to blend. Add vegetables; toss to coat. Cover tightly with nonstick foil.
