Salmon is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and also one of the best sources of vitamin D. Keeping vitamin D levels up is important to women with PCOS. Lemons can help to prevent oxidative damage to the body, which women with PCOS are often susceptible to.
Ingredients
1 (8 ounce) package softened cream cheese
1 tablespoon mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon seafood seasoning
1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon dried dill weed
6 ounces flaked smoked salmon
Instructions
Stir together the cream cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, onion powder, seafood seasoning, pepper, and dill in a bowl until evenly blended and no lumps of cream cheese remain. Gently fold in the flaked salmon until incorporated. Refrigerate 1 hour before serving.
